Technical Advisory Committees
Seven specialized committees govern methodologies and standards across AEEMA's core technical domains. Each TAC operates under formal Terms of Reference approved by the Executive Council, with 9–15 members and at least one representative per African region.
Air Quality
Ambient air monitoring, pollutant standards, exposure assessment, transboundary air pollution.
Mandate ·Develop and maintain AEEMA's continental air quality monitoring standards — covering ambient air quality standards, monitoring network design, pollutant thresholds, and public health integration. Coordinate with WHO Air Quality Guidelines and UNEP regional programs.
